Touchtennis is a fast growing sport in the UK… Tennis mad friend and 'Pop Up Tennis' founder Sarah Ditcham asked Pickle to create a brand identity for her new venture.
We identified that many local tennis clubs have a rather naive approach to their branding, Sarah wanted a much more professional sporty look. After exploring a number of concepts and personalities based around 'the venue' the brief developed to focus on 'the activity' with the venue playing a secondary role. The chosen design took the essence of one of the initial concepts but focussing on 'the activity' allows for future company expansion and additional venues to be added.
The strong black and gold colour palette feature ball and arc graphics - symbolising the 'undercover' and pop up nature of what the company offers. The bold italic font captures the sporty action.
